Sacromonte Free Tour:
Meet the most special quarter of Granada
This tour combines hiking, stories, legends and the best views of the city.
The tradition of living in caves is alive and well in the present-day culture in Granada, and here is one of those places where you can feel the true nature of the city.
In this area culture swings between what the eye can see and what hides inside the mountains. Hillsides hollowed by generations transport us to a different time, a neighborhood where we are shown day after day that living an alternative lifestyle can be a synonym of living life to the fullest.
The caves are undoubtedly a must-see if you are visiting Granada; let yorself be charmed by the spanish guitar, the click and stamp of the flamenco dancers and the tranquility of this neighbourhood frozen in time.

What did they think of the visit?
I took the Sacromonte tour and enjoyed it a lot. Alain was a great guide, knowledgeable and with a good sense of humour, which is also important. The tour involved some hiking but I wouldn’t say it was difficult. And the views of the Alhambra were great!
