Granada's period of splendour did not end with the departure of Boabdil
In Christian times it was also a privileged city, which enjoyed the favour of even the Catholic Monarchs. Characters of the stature of Gonzalo Fernández de Córdoba, better known as the Gran Capitán, also marked the future of these lands.
We will discover his tomb, located in the Monastery of Saint Jerome, with a guided tour of the monastery and its spectacular church.
An exciting story, a character that we are all familiar with, but almost nobody knows about. We will talk about his virtues, his passions and the events that led him to be, possibly, the best warrior that has ever existed in the history of Spain and Castile.
