Discover the two emblematic buildings of the Catholic Monarchs
The Granada Cathedral and the Royal Chapel are the two most important buildings in the Christianization of the city after the conquest of Granada by the Catholic Monarchs.
During this visit, we will discover one of the great jewels of the Renaissance in Granada: the Cathedral, where we will observe a chronological succession of artistic styles, from Gothic to Baroque. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to visit the Royal Chapel, the burial place of the Catholic Monarchs and other members of their family. The chapel also houses a museum with the private collection of Isabella and Ferdinand, featuring paintings and sculptures by both domestic and foreign artists from the Gothic and Renaissance periods. Notable pieces include the crown and scepter of Isabella, as well as the sword of Ferdinand.
