Albaicín Free Tour:
The origin of Granada
The conquest of Granada was the turning point for the european society at the end of the XV Century and it is in Albaicín were we find a live testimony of this changes.
The Albaicín quarter is a synthesis of all the cultures that have lived in its streets, squares, and houses. From Muslims, Christians and Jews, to artists from the Romantic era and writers who found inspiration in the narrow streets of this quarter, everyone who’s lived here has added their spice to the unique charm of the Albaicín. Here, Moorish houses, the traditional gardens of the ‘carmenes’, old mosques converted into churches and arab palaces coexist with artisan workshops, traditional bars, family businesses and magical viewpoints.
Our tour will take you through its stone paved streets with guides who are passionate about helping you discover the unique character of this mysterious and attractive area.

We really enjoyed the Albazin Tour, we got loads of informations and very nice recommendations (the vegan restaurant was very good!). Alain was a really good guide with a nice sense of humor and a great inside view. Now we know, that we need to come back to Granada!! ¡Muchas gracias!
We did a walking tour in Albaycin with Pedro a few days ago and it was fantastic! An interesting and captivating tour which gave us a real understanding of the area and its history, plus beautiful view-points. Highly recommended!
